chocolate-covered strawberries

Magic from beneath closed eyelids

This is probably the weirdest dream I’ve ever had.

I was on a small stage, which seemed built out of a small school gymnasium. The lights were on bright, and I was sitting in the far left of 3 chairs. David Tennant was pacing back and forth at the front of the stage, wearing a brown Aeropostale jacket (at least I think that’s what it was, it was the same style) with blue jeans, saying lines of some kind (I couldn’t hear anything he was saying). Someone else was in the center chair, but I never turned to see who it was. That someone says a line to me, I say my line, and I walk off stage (can’t remember if the audience laughed or not) and sit on the far left side of the auditorium. I grab a program (little pamphlet thing that says info about the play) and look at the cast list. Apparently, my character’s name was “Lord Amanda.” (HAHAHAHA) I look back up at the stage and…

My alarm clock woke me up. I turned it off and went back to sleep.

Then, I was in a modified version of my friend Scarlet’s house. The bedroom-side of the house had been turned into a really fancy restaurant-like dining room and equally as fancy living area.

The first thing I remember is looking out Scarlet’s bedroom window to the field below, the normal view out her window. I looked behind me and saw Eighth Doctor and an older version of Fifth Doctor (from the Children in Need episode of Doctor Who “Time Crash”) sneaking past the dining room, which was full of people at the time. I decide to help out with the apparent mission or mystery to solve and sneak along with them. Eighth Doctor is acting like a little kid that had too much sugar and giggling madly, and Older Fifth Doctor just has this giant mischievous grin on his face.

We hid behind some French double doors and successively sneak past the dining room. On the couch in the living room, a little grey rat climbs up onto the cushion, finds a crumb, and begins nibbling on it. Eighth Doctor suddenly turns around, sees the rat and squeals like a fangirl, scoops up it up, and runs off with it back down the way we came, bouncing as he goes.

I run after him (Fifth Doctor just sort of disappeared) and he disappears as well. I keep running into Scarlet’s real dining room, where there is a HUGE plate of chocolate-covered strawberries sitting there on the table. I run straight past that into the kitchen, a crazy smile on my face, where a bunch of people are standing around. Among them was David Tennant, standing there wearing his “Trust Me, I’m A Doctor” T-shirt (this is a real T-shirt that he has; Billie Piper, who plays Rose, got it for him) and eating a bowl of cereal. I run past him, bumping him in the shoulder. I trip over a boot in the other hallway and fall into a coat closet, crashing into the back of it. I stagger out, still with a mad smile on my face and laughing, and David is staring at me, confused, still holding his bowl of cereal. I wave at him (or some other kind of acknowledgement, can’t remember what exactly I did) and go into a bedroom off of the kitchen.

Sarnia is sitting on one of two beds eating a bowl of chocolate-covered strawberries with milk, like cereal (I was hungry before I went to bed). Eighth Doctor is sitting on the floor next to the other bed, with another bowl of chocolate-covered strawberries, eating them contentedly (He was so cute! xD ). The bedspread that Sarnia is sitting on has giant cartoony pictures of chocolate-covered strawberries on it. The other bed’s bedspread has something like chocolate-covered banana slices on it.

I burst through the door to this bedroom and pointed, Phoenix Wright-like, at Sarnia and yelled “IT WAS YOU!—oh, that looks good!” and proceeded to try to eat the chocolate-covered strawberry bedspread. It tasted like bedsheets (in reality, I probably tried to eat my pillow). I started to think about going into the backyard, picturing Scarlet’s uncle’s backyard instead (it’s a giant place, the backyard has slides and treehouses and a trampoline).

Then the phone rang in my ear and woke me up.

Perspectives: This time, only my own. I was surprised I actually stayed with my own point of view.

Influences: Before bed, I spent a whole lotta time looking through Doctor Who icons on Photobucket (most of which were freaking hilarious!), so that’s where all the Doctors came from. The rat was probably a reference from an RP that I’m doing with a friend whose character, Jack, has a pet mouse. I’m also thinking that Eighth Doctor is my friend’s character, by the way he was acting jittery and hyper (even though Jack is rarely happy) and because he got excited when he saw the rat. And the chocolate-covered strawberries all over the place…I guess that’s the product of being hungry before bed. ^_^;;
